Pueblo Bonito
Chaco Canyon, San Juan Basin, New Mexico

In many ways, Pueblo Bonito was the most astonishing and wonderous of all the sites visited in Chaco Canyon, and, of the entire southwest. Because of this, it also garnered the most photogs of any place taken in. To help in getting oriented, a (1990 version) trail map at the beginning of the site guides provides a "path" we'll refer to below with the images themselves. With so many images of Pueblo Bonito, it became necessary to "divee-up"
the collection in "web-manageable" chunks. Hence this artificial division:

the above two views face each other:
27 (taken in the afternoon) is in the south-east-most
corner room of the site trail looking due west,
while 37 (taken the next morning) is three rooms
further west facing east.

38 looks into 26 and 21, both of which look back into 38
38 (taken in the morning) looks south into where 26 and 21 look north (previous afternoon);
there is a door into the room north of trail map location 14 where 38 looks south from;
however, not being a "camera pro", there isn't as much light captured in the interior
rooms in 26 as was desired, so 21 is included (taken one room north of 26) to provide
more visibility of this remarkable (and "famous") shot.
