McKinney presents: Hip Hop PowerShop 2000

"Hip Hop is a reflection of how our young people view themselves"

March 29, 2000

DECATUR--Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) will host a workshop, Hip Hop Powershop 2000. Hip Hop PowerShop 2000 will feature a dialogue between new school and old school artists who will discuss the meaning of their music and its significance. If you are a critic of Hop Hop or a Hip Hop follower and you would like to make your voice heard, then this workshop is for you. PowerShop 2000 will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2000, 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at Emory University. There is limited seating so RSVP to Tre'Mayne Maxie or Mario Chatman in the Decatur Office at (404) 377-6900.
