when
i started gathering the articles and stories for this section,
it was with the idea of presenting ways to get "from where we
are now" to some "better place." each of the following, although not
stating so directly, speaks to me with clarity and the knowledge
that we humans can live in absolute balance with Universe.
today,
as i'm actually writing this introduction, it occurs to me
that the future, like the past, doesn't exist. we can't get
to a "better place"; the present is all we have. Being in this
moment is all there is; everything else is a construct of thought.
so
perhaps the following, or maybe only one of them, will speak to
you and show you a way to be more present in the moment. if we give
to each moment exactly what it demands the chances are our
grandchildren's grandchidren will have the opportunity to do so as
well.
the
experience of being completely in the moment, completely
conscious and focused, is sometimes called joy.
"Tomorrow becomes necessary when we do not see very clearly today."
